My name is Sandra, and I am a retired artist and crafter.
Beautiful Boxes was created one day, when I took one of my husband’s empty cigar boxes and decided to get a little creative.

Before long, I had so many interesting pieces, that I started giving them away as gifts to friends and family. One day someone saw one of my creations at a friend’s house on her coffee table. The box was being used to store her TV remote controls. The person called me, and asked if she could purchase one for herself, but asked if I could match it to her decor. What evolved since that day, are the unique keepsakes and memorial boxes you see on this site. I personally handcraft each box, and take pride in my craftsmanship. I create all types of styles, and work with all different types of fabric. All of my boxes are upholstered over a solid wood box and have new brass hinges and accessories.

I have been told by many, that my boxes are very unique and beautiful. Hence the name, BEAUTIFUL BOXES.

These keepsake and memorial boxes are designed to be used as functional works of art.

When I started designing these boxes several years ago, my intention was to create a keepsake box that was whimsical and unique. Since then I have added many new designs.

Each one can be customized to fit your individualized needs.

All custom designs require a 50% deposit and will take up to two weeks to create.
